My Experience
5 years ago I was not the healthy, lean, positive minded person I am today. Before I discovered the Lemonade Cleanse, my eating habits were not what you would consider “healthy”. I bought a lot of processed, pre-prepared foods just to save time. I rushed around, did not take a moment for myself, and often felt constipated. Excess build up in my intestines were a result of this lifestyle. I was in need of change, a body makeover, and a chance to reverse all of the toxins I was putting into my body. I decided I would try the Lemonade Cleanse.
The reason I chose the Lemonade Cleanse was the all-natural, homemade recipe. I was a bit skeptical at first and it was difficult overcoming my psychological hunger. However, once I was able to overpower my urge to eat solid food, the cleanse absolutely put me back in touch with my body. Towards the end of my 10-day cleanse, my skin became radiant, I had lost over 10 pounds, and I was feeling lighter and younger than I had in years. I was definitely not expecting this drastic change in attitude, but there is something to be said for fasting, which monks and yogis have been doing for thousands of years.
After losing all of that excess waste from my colon, I knew I had to change my health habits to keep it off. I was determined not to become the sluggish person I had once been. Additionally, every year after the holidays I repeat cleanse, sloughing off any intestinal debris I had gathered over the previous year.
You don’t have to completely change your health habits like I did. You might just want to lose a few pounds before your cousin’s wedding. This was my path, and I hope that you each find a path of own. The most important thing is that you detoxify your system, get back in touch with your body, and do something beneficial for yourself.
