I know a lot of you are concerned about staying positive, refreshed, and in a good state of mind after your Lemonade Cleanse. Aside from keeping the weight off, it is important to continue our good feelings happiness even after our full body detox. That is why it is important to eat foods that make our bodies happy, healthy, and strong. These foods should be all natural and prepared with love and care. I realized that this style of eating is exhibited in the “yogic diet”.

As it turns out, yoga is much more than just a stretching exercise. For many people, it is a way of life. Yogis believe in a balanced lifestyle. They keep themselves clean and fit. They are not too fat and not too thin. Their minds are at peace and their bodies flow with their active, happy lifestyle. What a perfect way to practice life post-cleanse. A big part of this lifestyle is cooking and eating homemade, all-natural foods that actually make you feel better mentally and spiritually. The trick is to not eat too much or too little…just enough to make you feel satisfied. It is a very positive way of thinking about eating. You feel full, refreshed, and really good about the food you’ve just consumed.

There are many websites that you can check out about yogic eating. I have posted a few below for you to peruse.

All of the foods discussed are vegetarian. They are rich in fibers, proteins, vitamins, minerals, and enough fat to keep you healthy. Most are cooked, stewed, and sautéed. I encourage you all to try some of these recipes. I know I will.
