Ease-Out (3 days after daily cleanse schedule)

Days 1-3 After Finishing Cleanse

After your 10 day lemonade cleansing, you will start a 3-day easing out process. This process re-introduces your system to fruit juices, fruits and vegetables, and finally solid foods. The ease-out is essential to the Master Cleanse diet.

It is not optional. If you begin eating solid foods and complex carbohydrates right away, you could suffer from a great deal of stomach pain, bloating, and constipation. Remember, you should ease your body in and out of the lemonade cleansing process slowly and naturally. Your body will thank you for it.

How To Do Ease-Out Days 1, 2, 3

Immediately after you finish your 10 days of Lemonade Cleansing you should begin your first day of easing out. There are 3 days in total, which are the exact reverse of the Ease-In process. Do not go without the ease-out regimen after your strict diet of lemonade. Easing out allows your body to gently and safely adjust back to a solid food diet.

Follow the guidelines below and refer to My Book for information and encouragement.

I strongly recommend you take probiotics AFTER you finish breaking your cleanse to replace the good bacteria you lose when you clean your colon thoroughly. These good bacteria manufacture vitamins A, B1, B2, B3, B12, and K and help control bad bacteria, such as Candida. By the way, don’t waste your money taking probiotics during the cleanse. They’ll just get washed out. Do it after the cleanse.

Day 1: Orange Juice

Consume only fresh squeezed orange juice during your first day of easing out. Make sure that the oranges you choose are ripe and fresh. Do not drink store bought orange juice because it includes extra sugars, sweeteners, and preservatives. Remember, you want this to be a wholesome, natural process. I like to add a bit of Pure Maple Syrup to my orange juice and some Purified Water to taste. The maple syrup gives me added energy throughout the first day back.

Day 2: Juicing and Smoothies

The second day of this easing out process includes juicing and pureeing a wide variety of fresh fruits and vegetables. Drink as much as needed throughout the day. Try different fruit juice and smoothie combinations. I included a few of my favorites in My Book.

Day 3: Fruits and Vegetables

On the last day you may eat as many fresh fruits and vegetables as you like. This is also known as a “Living Food Diet”. This diet includes your fresh squeezed fruit juices as well. Limit potatoes and fruits that are high in sugar such as bananas and grapes. They may disturb your digestion at first. For delicious raw food recipes and preparation, check out my book.

On the 4th day (the day after your ease-out ends) feel free to incorporate normal foods into your Post-Cleanse diet. I urge you to do this slowly, and be careful about your dietary choices. Listen to your body as you re-introduce solid foods. Brown rice and whole grains are good choices if you are craving carbohydrates. Try not to ingest highly processed foods like store bought cookies and pre-prepared dinners right away.

If you can, try to take your post-cleanse diet to the next level by maintaining a healthy habit of eating fresh fruits, vegetables, meats, and dairy. Cook your own meals instead of ordering out or succumbing to the frozen entrée isle. I have included more healthy tips on my Post-Cleanse page and in my eBook.

Ease-In to Post-Cleanse Health

Another excellent reason to employ the ease-out process after lemonade cleansing is to introduce healthy raw foods back into your diet first. By doing this, you are already on a path to a healthier lifestyle. You may want to continue a vegetarian Post-Cleanse diet for a short time. I know I did, and it has benefited me greatly.

If a vegetarian lifestyle is not for you, try to simply eat and live a healthier lifestyle. You wouldn’t want to rush back into filling your colon up with excess waste if you had a very successful detox. Continue to listen to your body’s health needs after the Lemonade Cleanse and you will have great success.
